Posting Guidelines and Format

Anyone is allowed to post their fanworks at anytime to the community, provided you follow the following guidelines to keep everything orderly. The number one rule here is Don't Be A Jerk. Post in an intelligent and mature manner and if you have doubts just ask.

General Rules

-You may post directly to the community or elsewhere. If you post to community directly though a cut is required to save people's reading page.

-Please include basic information such as Title, Fandom, and Ship (including quadrant of course), and Rating when you post. If you choose, you may use the following format:

Title:
Fandom:
Ship(s):
Rating:
Content notes:
Summary:

-Content notes are optional, though if you choose not to use warnings please note so.
-Keep all large images under cuts

Rules by Medium

A breakdown of different mediums you might work in. If there's a type of fanwork not listed here you'd like to make, feel free to ask a mod and we'll come up with a way to organize it.

Fiction
-There is a minimum of 500 words for an individual post with no upper limit. If you are posting multiple works at the same time the minimum is waved.

Art and Graphics
-Use your own best discretion when posting. Try not to post five posts of four icons each to the community in a row. Consolidate.
-No picture larger than 400px in any dimension uncut, though previews are encouraged. No more than three example icons allowed outside a cut as well.

Fanmixes
-Fanmixes may be of any length and may be uploaded where ever the mixer sees fit, however it is highly encouraged that the mix is crossposted to a streaming site such as 8tracks.

Meta
-Meta is very much encouraged! You may talk about any subject, such as theorizing about quadrants, talking about how quadrants overlap with the romance system in your canon, or simply trying to sell people on your ship of choice. Just follow the same guidelines as fiction.

Podfic
-Podfic follows the same rules as fiction, there is a 500 word minimum.
-If you are using a preexisting fic, please check with the author that they are okay with it being used for this fest.
-Otherwise, go wild!

Additional Information

Tagging Posts
-Posts will be tagged by the mods for organization. They will include Fandom, Quadrant, and Medium. If we need more tags in the future they will be added.

Crossposting
-Crossposting is allowed and encouraged at any time.
-If you choose to post to AO3 there is a Quadrant Fest collection: Here
-If you choose to post to tumblr, please use the "Quadrant Fest" tag.

Content Notes and Warnings
-Communities are built on trust. For this reason we are trusting you to use your own good judgement when posting in regards to content notes and warnings. Just don't be a jerk.
